Elephants and History


Elephant is a kind of unique animal that found in India and Africa. The elephant ancestor was believed to be the mammoth that lived during the ice age period but now they’re extinct. Elephants are believed to be the biggest herbivores ever walk on earth. Elephant in ancient time were use in the war, we called it "War Elephant". According to Chhayhak Ty, college student from Zaman University, elephants are used as the tank. They provide soldiers chance to enter deep inside the battle field without lose much members but few nation used them. India trained their elephants to battle really deadly and fiercely. For instance, Alexander the Great travel from his homeland and conquered many nations through Europe until he reached India in Asia. He conquered the nations on his way easily but he’s end his journey in India. Battles with India army was his most tragedy battle he ever face as he never saw elephants before and he first seen it during the battles, he almost lost his life in that battles. 
 There are more stories about elephants. In some folktales, the author often use elephants as the main character too because of it's humbleness and strong personalities is a sign of wisdom and wise.
